Garu Setian

GARO SETIAN is an award-winning trailer editor who has cut over 100 trailers and television spots for motion pictures. His clients include Lionsgate and Artisan, as well as many independent labels. He has been nominated for 11 Golden Trailer Awards, and in 2008 won three for his trailers for THE EYE 3 (best foreign horror), DRIVE-THRU (Trashiest trailer) and the Marvel animated feature DOCTOR STRANGE (best anime). Mr. Setian holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from USC School of Cinema-Television as well as a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.

Garo is also an award-winning filmmaker.  His short film PARTNERS IN CRIME (A children’s film combining clay animation and live action) won seven awards, was a regional finalist in the Student Academy Awards and was screened at thirteen film festivals.  The film was recently sold to Russian television. Other short live action/animated films by Garo, THE BLOB DIET and THE BLOB CUPID were seen on the Showtime Network and profiled on CNN.  Garo’s most recent film, the horror short, THE DRIFTER just completed a run of festival screenings including The New York City Horror Film Festival.

pursue his passion for making fantasy/sci-fi and horror movies.
